Laura Dwire, Community Programs Manager

Laura is back working with the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation in 2015 as the HEAL Program Coordinator. She manages all things HEAL-related, such as the fresh produce markets, nutritional cooking classes, and the program’s relationship with co-sponsor, Parkview Health.

With more than 30 years of experience in project management, Laura has worked in the manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit and consulting industries. In the past, she has also worked with the Foundation launching the Community Health Resource Directory in 2004, overseeing the development of a Shared Electronic Medical Records among the community’s healthcare safety net providers in 2005-2007, and assisted with a Study of the Health Status of Low Income residents in Allen County in 2007. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and a Master’s of Science from the Indiana Institute of Technology.

Laura has volunteered her time as a Community Harvest Food Bank board member, Athletic Director, and volleyball coach. She currently serves as a Brightpoint board member. She has been married to Jim for 32 years, has four daughters and two grandchildren.
