Sofia Vazquez, Summer Intern

I am currently a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a focus area in immigration policy and a minor in Spanish at the University of Michigan. I am passionate about community advocacy, human rights, and public service, and I hope to pursue a career in immigration and public interest law in the future.

Previously, I interned with Fort Wayne City Utilities, where I supported regulatory compliance and environmental reporting efforts. This past semester, I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, where I strengthened my Spanish language skills and gained experience working in human rights advocacy.

On campus, I have been involved in Phi Delta Phi, a pre-law fraternity, since my freshman year. I also serve on the Executive Board for the volunteer organization Adaptive Gymnastics, a program for children with disabilities.
