The St. Joseph Community Health Foundation is committed to serving the poor in body, mind and spirit to achieve health and wellness. As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we wanted to take a deeper look and gain a better understanding of the poor and vulnerable in our community. The St. Joe Foundation commissioned Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Community Research Institute to conduct a study.

They produced a 418 page report, titled “Allen County, IN Vulnerable Populations Study, A Review of Demographic, Socioeconomic and Poverty Indicators”, which was released on September 12, 2018. The St. Joe Foundation is proud to make this report available to all who partner with us, directly or indirectly, in our mission to care for the most vulnerable in Allen County. Additionally, the St. Joe Foundation also released a “Summary of Key Findings” from the Study.
